Website Accessibility Statement

The City of Sault Ste. Marie takes accessibility seriously, and strives to meet and exceed accessibility standards wherever possible. The Province of Ontario sets a standard for information and communications to assist organizations, like the City of Sault Ste. Marie, in making their information accessible to the widest audience.

We have tried to make this website as accessible as possible, including testing for colouring, functionality when zoomed in, compatibility with screen readers, and enabling translation to non-English languages via Google Translate.

Unfortunately, there may be cases where it is not possible to deliver information in a fully accessible format, such as for maps, some graphic documents, and content delivered through third-party services like social media platforms.

Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can improve the ways you can access information related to the Shape the Sault project, as well as the ways you can provide input and get involved.
